About Us

Internet Masonry focuses on providing vital business solutions for small to medium-sized businesses through the development and rapid deployment of customized web applications.
Many small to medium-sized businesses have purchased software that is too complex for their needs. In addition, due to IT resource limitations, many companies have never truly utilized these application to see their return on investment.
Often, those applications are focused on only one key business mission or business area and are not adaptable to other key business tasks. For those other tasks, most businesses are left using centralized tools in the hands of key personnel. For project management the reporting tool becomes an Excel spreadsheet shared between team members. Time and energy is wasted reorganizing information from disparate team members, and project information gets updated when the report is due, not in a real time. When team members leave the corporation, gaps occur due to poor documentation or lack of notification on issues. For contact management, the tool often becomes individual versions of Outlook; again, disconnected versions of each application with no central repository for all employees to share. When employees leave or are simply unavailable, key contacts are lost and commitments are broken with customers. In both situations, there is no shared information source that all employees in the team work to update. New marketing initiatives cannot be supported by an existing expensive CRM application due to lack of IT resources. Instead, thousands of customers are tracked via large spreadsheets. All too often, cumbersome work-arounds and interim processes become standard operating procedures. Such problems exist at companies of all sizes. Companies cannot afford to purchase best-in-class expensive big box solutions that require significant capital and internal IT investment need efficient. Instead, companies need simple tools that can be customized quickly for their business.

Chris Mason, the key consultant and founder of Internet Masonry, has seen all of the issues described above occur in his ten years working at EarthLink, an Internet Service Provider and large-scale, high tech business with millions of customers. Over the last seven years, Chris was able to successfully transform the operations of three business units by using Quick Base.
